Elissa began her dance career as a child here in Atlanta, where she studied ballet, tap, acrobatics, and jazz and danced competitively. In college, she was a varsity cheerleader at Auburn University, where she majored in Child Development. Following her graduation from Auburn, Elissa’s love for children and passion for performing arts led her to form the dance program at a local school, where she taught dance lessons to children ages 2 thru 18 for eleven years. Elissa has choreographed countless solos, duets, and group numbers over the years, with her students earning top awards at the local and national level for Showstopper, KAR, StarQuest, Showbiz and Nexstar. She has also trained students for specific projects such as music video appearances, and musicals such as Annie performed at the Fox Theatre in 2010. Elissa has used her time most recently to cater to the demand of students asking to work with her on their competitive solos, duets and trios. She truly loves the process of partnering with each student to achieve their individual goals and dreams.
